Rule 25
To be informed
(1) According to section 51 of the Act, if the party changes or amends its name, constitution, rules, seal, flag, symbol (logo) or if there is a change in the office bearer, the chief officer of the party or authorized person shall inform the Commission in accordance with Schedule-18.
(2) If the information as per sub-rule (1) is received, the Commission shall make necessary inquiries regarding whether such change, amendment or modification is in accordance with the Constitution, the Act, these regulations and the party's constitution and whether there has been an official decision in this regard.
(3) When examining according to sub-rule (2), such change, amendment or alteration is in accordance with the constitution, act, these regulations and the constitution of the party and the name, flag, seal and symbol (logo) of any other political party which has been changed or amended in that way. , will update the record if there is no duplication with the seal and mark (logo).
(4) If it is not possible to change or amend the name, statute, rule, seal, flag, symbol (logo) or change the office bearer during the investigation according to sub-rule (2), the Commission shall give seven days time to submit the explanation including the correction. Will inform the concerned parties.
(5) If such information is received within the period specified in sub-rule (4) and if the Commission is satisfied with it, it will update the record and if any information cannot be changed, amended or altered, it will inform the relevant party.
(6) According to sub-rule (5), if any details cannot be changed, amended or modified, it will be considered that the previous details of the party remain intact.
